all prices quoted on the gingerbreadhome website are in british pounds (£, sterling) including standard rate vat at 17.5%. these prices exclude delivery charges which are calculated at the time of checkout, depending on the item or items you have ordered. don’t worry, you will have time to review the delivery cost before you are charged.
all details and prices are accurate at time of going to print. gingerbreadhome reserves the right to make adjustments to prices and specifications at any time. if there is an error in pricing on the website for an item you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible for you to decide if you want to go ahead with the item or not. if we can’t get hold of you we will hold the order until we have made contact with you.

when you place an order for a product, or products, from gingerbreadhome you are agreeing to buy it at the price stated, and you agree to these terms and conditions.
online - following your order, an order confirmation will be automatically generated and sent to you by email. this will allow you one last opportunity to confirm your order is correct. you should inform us of any discrepancies or changes immediately on 0845 388 6214 as we will be preparing your order for shipment, otherwise we will assume your order is correct. any changes following shipping cannot be rectified and will have to go through our returns policy. online orders can be paid by all the major credit or debit cards.
by phone – orders placed by phone will be read back to you as confirmation.
phone orders can be paid by all the major credit or debit cards, cheque or postal order, however, orders paid for by cheque or postal order will not be released until the funds have cleared. please make cheques payable to gingerbreadhome.
orders placed before 3pm are generally shipped the same day, all orders taken after 3pm will automatically roll forward to the next working day, ready for shipment after 3pm.
please note: if your order is needed urgently and is after our 3pm cut-off, but before 5pm, please phone 0845 388 6214 and we will endeavour to do our best to get the order prepared and out for you that day, depending on the item, our work load, and whether our carriers have collected yet.

payment
all orders can be paid for using all major credit or debit cards, cheque or postal order. please note that orders paid for by cheque or postal order will not be shipped until the funds have cleared. cheques should be made payable to gingerbreadhome.
in all cases, your order details and invoice will be sent to the credit card billing address, not the delivery address - if these differ.
delivery
uk - all orders for delivery within the uk can be placed online or by phone.
provided all items on your order are in stock, our standard delivery service will take 1-3 days. we will notify you immediately if any items are out of stock. we will then allow you the option of holding the entire order until the item is back in stock or whether you would like individual deliveries. you will be charged for each individual delivery.
you can upgrade to next-day delivery at the checkout stage at extra cost, however, all delivery services have the same 3pm cut-off time as detailed above. all deliveries will be made between 9am-5pm, requiring a signature, so please ensure the delivery address is somewhere applicable. we will make every effort to deliver within these times, but gingerbreadhome cannot be liable for late deliveries or any consequential loss.
outside uk - any orders for delivery outside the uk can be placed by phoning gingerbreadhome on 0845 388 6214 or by emailing us your request, including delivery address, to export@gingerbreadhome.co.uk in this instance we will get back to you with a quote and eta. if you accept the delivery terms you can phone us with card details for payment of the order.
deliveries outside the uk may be subject to local import duties, which gingerbreadhome is not responsible for and will not refund. please consult your local customs office for details.
security & privacy
gingerbreadhome take the security of your personal information very seriously. all card payments are processed through securehosting who supply us with a secure online payment system, guaranteeing that your personal details and transactions are secure.
gingerbreadhome promises to only use the information we have stored about you in accordance with the data protection act 1998.
returns
standard items, damaged or faulty – please phone us on 0845 388 6214 within 48 hours of receipt of your order to organise a replacement, following the guidelines below:
1. please inspect your items as soon as they are delivered and within 48 hours, as no claim can be made after this period.
2. all items must be returned in all original packaging and with all components included.
3. the cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer and must be sent via recorded delivery (royal mail or similar).
4. where the order has been sent using a specialist carrier due to the nature of the product, the same specialist carrier must be used to
return the item(s) to ensure a safe return. gingerbreadhome cannot be held responsible for the damage of returned items due to
carrier misuse.
standard items, not damaged – please phone 0845 388 6214 within 48 hours of receiving your order to discuss a return or exchange following the guidelines below:
1. goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt of your order along with a copy of your receipt or your order number.
2. all items must be returned in all original packaging and with all components included.
3. the cost of returning the product is the responsibility of the customer and must be sent via recorded delivery (royal mail or similar).
4. where the order has been sent using a specialist carrier due to the nature of the product, the same specialist carrier must be used to
return the item(s) to ensure a safe return. gingerbreadhome cannot be held responsible for the damage of returned items due to
carrier misuse.
5. we will only refund your payment (minus return delivery charge if applicable) once we have received the goods in as new condition.
non-standard items – due to the fact that bespoke items cannot be sold on or returned to our suppliers we are unable to accept returns of non-standard, bespoke items.
for items made from natural materials, ie: wood, leather etc, we are unable to guarantee the shade, shape, colour etc due to mother natures inherent inconsistency.
