About Us
gingerbreadhome was first conceived as we walked around the furniture fair in milan one year. we are a design team made up of interior designers, graphic designers, photographers and dj’s, and we thought hey, why do we walk past all of this amazing stuff every year and do nothing about it? why don’t we offer these great products to our customers?
so, we decided we would do something about it and we would open a website.
that christmas we bought a little locally handmade gingerbread man which has sat at the top of our bed ever since.
when it came to thinking of a name for this website we couldn’t stop thinking of the little gingerbread man on our bed, so we fused it with products for the home and gingerbreadhome was born.
here at gingerbreadhome we sell an eclectic mishmash of products ranging from the cheap and friendly to the downright expensive and classy. the only criteria for choosing a product is “would we want one?” if the answer is “yes” then we sell it right here.
but why a website you say? well, we feel the days of retail are sadly numbered and although we love visiting cool places like brighton’s lanes, portobello road and all of the amazing design stores in our favourite european cities, we thought it would be much better if we spent our time promoting gingerbreadhome and letting more and more people know exactly where to find the coolest stuff, and all from the comfort of their own home.
we like looking after our customers so don't be surprised to find a free gift with every purchase over £20 with the compliments of gingerbreadhome. after all, everybody loves a free gift.

neille has worked in the interior design and refurbishment industry since charles & ray eames were in kindergarten so he knows a thing or 2 about what looks good in your home. a lover of all classic design products - in any colour, as long as they're white. he's so light he can actually float.

when he's not cruising europe in his classic red ferrari pretending to be magnum (minus the tash) jimmie ferrari can be found igniting his own shoes in what can only be described as world class freestyle dance-floor lunacy. stand well back. he once raced a greyhound in a train from his own vintage train collection - and won! poor greyhound.

customer entertainment & relations contributor, uncle dave is perfect for the laid-back approach of gingerbreadhome. when he's not dropping the next biggest tune since norwegian hilltop salsa he's most likely to be found trying on a new pair of adidas trainers or sampling the free wine and cheese in the local supermarket. he actually doesn't have a house of his own, preferring to stay in boutique hotels the world over. last seen residing somewhere in canada.
